The ongoing loyalty and support of growers to CBH’s network is critical to the success of a commercialised CBH. The attractiveness of the network to growers’ grain will be a priority for the management of a listed Australian Grains Champion.
Two key initiatives are:
A Dividend Policy
One of Australian Grains Champion’s key financial objectives is to deliver superior shareholder value through the return of capital in the form of a reasonable dividend.
Australian Grains Champion has a policy of returning between 40 and 60 per cent of net profit after tax to shareholders across the business cycle.
Any declaration and payment of dividends will be subject to the satisfaction of the test set out in section 254T of the Corporations Act 2001.
The Board of Directors of Australian Grains Champion maintains the discretion to determine whether or not a dividend is payable and the amount of any dividend payment.
The nature of the Supplier Incentives for each upcoming harvest will be set by Australian Grains Champion management in consultation with the Grower Council.
A number of incentivising initiatives are currently under consideration.
